Established for over twenty years, the North West Piano Centre is the UK's premier supplier of pre-owned Yamaha and Kawai pianos.

The founder of The North West Piano Centre Mr. Maurice Fitzpatrick set an exceptional high standard for the pre-owned piano market ensuring that every piano is dealt with individually to achieve the best possible result. After having worked with Maurice in the business for many years his brother Nicholas Fitzpatrick took over in April 2004, and will continue to maintain the high level of quality and finish to each piano.

Our vast and ever changing stock is carefully selected in Japan. When arriving in the UK each piano is professionally prepared to an exceptionally high standard, enabling us to offer these beautiful instruments at extremely competitive prices.

Our showroom in Manchester is open six days a week for customers to browse and sample our range of high quality instruments. Showroom and technical staff are happy to advise and answer any of your questions.

Our experienced and qualified staff, in our on-site workshops is well known for their work in restoration, tuning and servicing. Their many years of experience ensure that we are able to offer the very best pre-owned Yamaha and Kawai pianos on the market. 

Our technical team at the North West Piano Centre is Mr Paul Pickering, Miss Rachel Scadding and Mr Peter Lyons who are time served and qualified tuner/technicians. Peter is entrusted to tune and maintain pianos for The Bridgewater Hall, Chethams School of Music in Manchester and Lancaster Univercity. Paul and Rachel are also entrusted to tune and maintain pianos for: The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester Grammar School and various music festivals throughout the North West. Mr. Bernard Murray brings to the Piano Centre his years of experience in case restoration and polishing ensuring we achieve the highest standard of case-work on every Yamaha and Kawai piano.
